Use good quality short grain jasmine rice in an equal 1:1 ratio with water, set it and forget it, and about 20 minutes later, youβll have the best accompaniment to any Asian-inspired π₯‘ meals you make at home, from stir fry to sushi bowls to Korean barbeque style roast beef. In our home, we enjoy switching it up from the typical buttery basmati rice pilaf every now and then for an equally satisfying side dish. I know there are some super fancy imported rice cookers out there, but I personally use the very basic 6 cup Black and Decker rice cooker, which I only started using after getting married and have never made rice any other way since. I used to make it in a regular pot, but this is just so much easier, you virtually cannot mess it up.
